Cant edit - Photos ver 5 Mac

Cant edit pictures in Mac Photo anymore. Nothing greyed out , all edit features work , but when I hit done picture rotates on side no changes saved. All is up to date per App Store.

Yes, the library needs to be on a volume, that is formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled) or APFS, and the volume must not be used for Time Machine backups.

Have you tried, if the problem persists, after you restart the Mac?

Where is your Photos Library stored?

i resolved by oving my library from ext HD format fat32 to mac formatted HD
