no sound

My MacBook Pro all of a sudden will not make any sound at all. All the volume control is set correctly & the latest software update is done. Does anyone know anything about solving this issue?

Try an NVRAM reset:

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Thanks so much! I couldn't believe it when I heard sound!! It worked after only 2 tries!!
