Apple Pay & Wallet - can't add cards

Hi,

I've recently just bought a 2nd hand MacBook Air, and can't seem to add cards to my Apple Pay/ wallet.

The Macbook came with a host of apps such as Adobe/ Microsoft word etc. and as such I just added a new user (myself) and deleted the old user, as I didn't want to lose these programmes.

I can't seem to add cards to my wallet despite following this user guide/ thread which had similar issues to myself - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250017065

I've been into the apple store, and at first my security settings were not set to high, and my firewall was off, but all this is now set as it should for the wallet to work?

any more ideas, or anything else to try to get cards now add?

Many thanks in advance

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

There is no Wallet on that device. If on your phone you went to Settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>allow payments on Mac then you should be able to use Apple Pay on that device. Make sure you are using your Apple ID for that device and that you have selected the correct region.
