How can I convert in Numbers date value (i.e 359d) in numerical value?

Community, can you please help me with the conversion of date value (i.e 359d) in numerical value (i.e 359) in Numbers?

Hi pm-me,


359d is a duration value of 359 days.


To convert that duration to a number, use the DUR2DAYS function,

Entered as 359d in A1, with the cell's data format set to Automatic, the value is automatically displayed in Weeks and Days, as shown in cel A1.


To force Numbers to present that duration as xxxd, you'll need to apply a custom format using custom units. set to display the value as days, with the d suffix.


While appplying custom format and units will change the display, the Data itself continues to represent a duration. To change that duration value to a number, use the DUR2DAYS formula shown.
