Silence setting

I don’t understand the SILENCE setting. I can’t uncheck the setting. There are two options and one is always checked. It is keeping me from getting calls when my iPhone is locked.

My do not disturb setting is NOT on.

How do I change this?

Do Not Disturb and Silence Funciton I'm using ios 14.8 on my iPhone 12. I have had lots of trouble with my phone calls being silenced. Even if don't use the Do Not Disturb function, the SILENCE function still silences my phone calls. Is the problem that with SILENCE you only have 2 choices: ALWAYS or 'when phone locked?' I do have to Allow All calls selected. Thanks for the help!

phone wont ring how do i disable the Silence feature?? in the do not disturb section there is a Silence section two options 1. ALWAYS 2. WHILE PHONE IS LOCKED incoming calls and notification will be silenced while phone is locked point 2 is ticked but i cannot turn this off I DONT WANT THEM SILENCED

iPhone XR silences calls when locked I want to shut off the Do Not Disturb for when my phone is locked. The toggle is off, but it only gives options when phone is locked or always for silence. How do I shut this off?

use the side control and flip the switch to up for ringer.
