Sound on MacBook Pro occasionally stops working

The sound on my 2017 MacBook Pro occasionally stops working and needs the computer to be restarted before it works again

sound issue Macbook was working perfectly fine, when suddenly in the evening the sound system stopped working. I did face this problem a day before when this event occurred, that day i did restart my macbook and it was back to normal. please do help if anyone has a solution.

This command worked for me

sudo launchctl stop com.apple.audio.coreaudiod && sudo launchctl start com.apple.audio.coreaudiod
