I upgraded to 10.15.1 and now I can't access my library of photos. How do I get a version of iPhoto that Catalina will support. The info I got when I clicked on iPhoto was not helpful.

Iphoto will no longer work in Catalina.
Open Photos and it should open your old iPhoto library and convert it
if it doesn't automatically import the library, launch it with the Option key held down and choose the iPhoto one.
Open PHOTOS not iphoto
That didn't;t work. I tried opening it under options, but I get the same message that it isn't supported by Catalina...
