can i use an ipad that has wifi & cellular without adding the cellular option - can i get the cellular and use wifi only until i decide i want/need cellular

Yes. There is no requirement to activate cellular service on an iPad until you need or want to do it.


You need to buy the cellular model if you ever plan on activating cellular service at any point, but there's no requirement to activate it from the get go, or really at all, ever, if you do not want to.
