Emails deleted on one device aren't being deleted on the other device(s)

I have several email accounts - personal and business. When I delete an email from any of the accounts on either my iPhone or iMac it doesn't automatically delete it from the other device. I'm pulling out what hair I have left! What's the fix???

only email type imap and exchange support sync of read and deleted mails across clients


old pop3 does not

maybe your mail provider setup is set to pop3 but maybe the mail provider also support imap
