I just purchased a new MacBook Pro. Is there a way I can bring in my iPhoto library photos from my MBA to my new MBP?
If both computers use the same apple ID, is there a way to pull in the old iPhoto library to my new MBP?

It ought to be dead simple. Whatever you do make sure you have a spare copy of your iPhoto library before you set Photos converting it. There have been comments about conversion problems when you do a big jump.
