Unable to copy a PDF from Windows 10 PC to my IPHONE

Hello everyone. I am unable to copy a PDF from my Windows 10 PC to my IPHONE via iTunes.


I have tried every conceivable combination of clicks and drags to no avail. The step-by-step instructions I found on the web are not helpful. Surely it cannot be this hard? If anyone can provide me assistance it would be very much appreciated!

You can drag and drop PDFs from Windows Explorer or Finder to the device where it appears in the sidebar in iTunes, like this:



The screen capture doesn't show it, but as I drag over the device what I actually see is the same PDF document icon as in the Explorer window with a Link overlay making it clear that an interaction will be allowed. Your device should add the PDF file to the Books app.
