I have two watch faces on my apple watch series 5. How I remove one? Only sometimes can I swiper right or left to find the one I usually want

Hard press on the watch face...then sweep up and you will have the option to Remove it.

Thank you, that didn't work. At first it would't swipe up or down or right to the watch face I want to keep, then it worked and the face I wanted reappeared. I went back the face I want to remove and still unable to push up or down. Once I was able to push down but never up
