Piano roll shows entire track

Is there a way to open (just) a region in the piano roll?

I get the whole track in pianoroll, when I double click/ option click on a region.

In the menu bar of the Piano roll editor, is the Link button active (Orange)? The Link button look like a chain.

LogicX Piano roll - Link - Arrange Hi, I just upgraded logic 10.4.1 to 10.4.4 and of course I found a ridiculous problem: I use to be able to select a region in the arrange window, see it on the piano roll, change track on the arrange while continue seeing the region on the piano roll, and play on the new track. Very useful. Now, if I select a region in the arrange, it automatically changes to the same track, so I can't play in another instrument. Uncheck the Link button doesn't resolve this, since will not change the region displayed in the piano roll window. Any ideas? Thank you very much

Loop is enabled on every new track by default Every track I create has the "loop" box checked by default in the Region pane. Is there a way to disable this by default on each new track? I can't seem to find it in the preferences.

Combine 2 Regions in same track without first region being cutoff when second region starts.... Hi folks. So I like to build songs quickly to get an idea of where they want to go. I want to be able to record two different regions on the same track then take the second region and put it on top of the first region at the end of the measure but still have the first region continue to trail off where the second region starts after merging. I know how to merge but the first region just stops playing where the second region starts on top of the first region. Very frustrating! If someone could help me with this I would be very appreciative! Thank you.
