install fonts on ipad os

How do you install a font to iPad OS (iOS 13)? I thought that was one of the new features, but I cannot figure it out or find any information on how to do it. I have a 6th generation iPad. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

The additional fonts are included within third-party (i.e., paid) Apps. Contrary to logical expectation, the additional fonts are not discrete downloadable components.

I hope this provides some clarity in what, to many, might not be obvious.

You can use an app like AnyFont. In addition to whatever is included with the app, it will install other fonts you import via email or other means.

Whether imported fonts can be used can only be determined by testing with the apps where you want them to display.
