Can't adjust brightness of LG Ultrafine 23.7 4k monitor after upgrading to macOS Catalina

I can't adjust the brightness of my LG Ultrafine 23.7 4k monitor after upgrading to macOS Catalina. Before the upgrade, I could hold control and use the brightness slider on my touch bar to adjust the LG Ultrafine display.

External Monitor Brightness Using Big Sur on a MacBook Pro and an external LP Ultrafine monitor, I'm attempting to adjust the brightness on the latter. However, going to System Preferences>Monitor>LG Ultrafine, there is no "brightness" adjustment tool. Does anyone have a suggestion to adjust brightness on this external monitor? Thank you.

Brightness issue with LG4K monitor and M1 MacMini Essentially it's like my display isn't actually reflecting the maximum brightness possible even when adjusting brightness via the keyboard and the on-screen brightness indicator shows it at the max. I'm able to fix this by going into System Prefs -> Displays and tweaking the brightness. Even though it shows brightness max there as well, just moving the slider allows the monitor to actually get as bright as possible. It does this every time the Mac goes to sleep. Connecting to the display using the Thunderbolt out from the MacMini.

I fixed it by unplugging the thunderbolt cable from my mac and plugging it in again.
