IPadOS spotlight search gone

Hi, since upgrading to iPadOS13 I can’t find spotlight search, swiping down from top middle only gives me notifications, swiping right from the home screen only gives me widgets, please help me search for my spotlight search 👍😀

spotlight search field in iPad OS 13.1 Hi, I just updated to iPad OS 13.1 and it seems that the Spotlight search field doesn't show anymore when I swipe down from the middle of the Home screen. The only thing I get is notifications (or widgets when I swipe from left edge to right, after swiping down). Am I missing something? Of course it is possible to get into Spotlight when I use the hardware keyboard shortcut CMD+Spacebar, so it is still there, but it would be nice if I could get there without the keyboard as it was in iOS 12 (and is in the documentation for iPad OS 13.1 on the Apple website)

Spotlight search gone on iPad Pro? Center swipe down not working. I am trying to find the spotlight search bar on my iPad Pro and have never been able to find it. I found articles with answers stating the spotlight search will appear if you swipe down on the top center of the screen, when I do this my lock screen shows up and nothing else besides “no notifications.” Thanks in advance for your help.

Place your finger in the middle of the screen, and swipe down.

Hi, silly me was putting my finger at the top middle not the middle 😂 sorted, thank you so much
