Wrong serial number, but I enter the correct serial number

I enter the correct serial number written in the menu of my MacBook Pro and the back cover, but the Apple website does not break it like the MacBook Pro 2012 Mid, what should I do?

Make sure you aren’t confusing zeros (0) with the letter (O) while inputting your serial number. Also check for the number (1) instead of a capital (I). I have done this on a few occasions. Just a thought.

Apple telephone support requires that you input your serial number, so if there is a problem with it, there is no easy way to get to a person. The problem could also be the result of a logic board replacement if the tech did not register the new board's serial number during the install. The best way in that case would be a visit to the nearest Genius Bar and have them sort it out.
