No sound while on phone with iPhone 11

Brand new iPhone 11. 3 days old. No sound at all while on a call. Though pressing Speaker works.

Similar questions

No sound when making or receiving calls. I received a new iphone 14 yesterday. When making or receiving calls, there is no sound unless i turn on the speaker. The caller can hear me, but on my side, there is no sound. Please advise.

did you remove the screen protector that was installed on the iPhone when it came out of the box?

This protective film blocks the ear piece.
