When I get in my car and connect my phone up to the USB port, I'll be driving in silence and then suddenly after some time (not sure how long), the first song in alphabetical order that is stored on my phone begins to play. Very jarring when having a conversation with a passenger or enjoying the silence. Anyone have any ideas how to stop the phone from automatically playing music?

I don't want to have to take additional action before I connect the phone or after I connect the phone. I just want to connect my phone and that's it.
Thank you for your response but this has happened with two different cars that I've owned, one from Honda and one from Nissan. There are also many threads from others who have had the same issue, one of which drove a Subaru. This is not an issue with my Honda's car audio and there are many Honda owners with the same issue:

I will continue to look for a viable solution. The Honda service center at my dealership will not know how to fix it.
