How to find keys on Mac after switching language.

I have a US Macbook (bought in the US), and I have switched the language to Norweigian, because I need the letters `æøå` to do the majority of my writing. But after doing so I am finding it so hard to use the keyboard to find other keys because the keys are different from what is shown on the keyboard.

Example: Typing: "shift+7" it gives me "/" and not "&" which is shown on the keyboard.

I was wondering if there is some sort of guide I can follow which allows me to see what combination I need to type to get the key I want. I also need the key "§" but can not find it....

Not from Apple. You would have to search the internet. I really doubt anyone would make a cover for Norwegian that conforms to the US keyboard.

I think you can also make all the Norwegian characters from the US layout if you want, either via Press and Hold (a popup menu appears with all the variations of the key you are holding down) or via Option Key shortcuts, as given at

Thanks. Is there anyway to order a keyboard cover with the new keys? I can not order a Norwegian keyboard cover since the display is different.
