Set up 2013 iMac 21.5 as external monitor to PC laptop

Hi, I've got a 2013 iMac 21.5" and I'd like to set it up as external monitor to my Lenovo X1 Yoga 2nd Gen.

The Lenovo laptop has Thunderbolt(USB-C) connection and my iMac has Thunderbolt 2 connection.

I bought a Thunderbolt 2 cable and a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3(USB-c) adapter.

When I plug in the cable and adapter onto iMac and my laptop, I tried to reboot both mac and pc and press Command+F2 on iMac, but it doesn't go into Target Display Mode.

Is there any other way to get this work?

The Thunderbolt iMacs that are capable of Target Display Mode

will only work with another Mac, period. If it was older and still

had the Mini Display Port, there may have been a chance.

There is no driver that exists anywhere that can make what you want work.

The issue has been brought up since Thunderbolt and Target Display mode

on iMacs (beginning 2011) and there is no solution.
