Is there a way to share pictures that include the associated info (Title, Description)?

I want to share 1000+ family pictures along with the description saying who is in the picture. I tried copying them to a portable drive and then loading the pictures onto another Mac running Photos. Pictures are there, but no Info. Is there a way to attach the info so that it goes along with the picture? Thank you!
