Apple Watch 4

I was looking into purchasing an Apple Watch 4, and trying to decide if I wanted to get the cellular feature. I do a lot of running and was curious if my wireless headphones could connect through bluetooth to the watch. I was also curious if I could use Spotify on the watch for music or if I had to use Apple Music. Thank you!

Yes, your wireless headphones will connect to your Cellular watch through bluetooth. Also, you can download your own music to your watch or use Apple music to play on your bluetooth headphones. As of now, Spotify cannot be played through the Apple watch.

Spotify is a "No" this month. In the next month or so watchOS 6 will be released and we do not know what Spotify will do.

Either model can have music stored on the Apple Watch and it will play via Bluetooth headphones while out on your run.

Either model will track you run without the iPhone being with you.

The GPS model away from your iPhone means no one will interrupt your run with text and phone calls. You can have quiet time to yourself.
