Signs of corrosion Apple watch 3

Signs of corrosion begin to appear on the side button of my apple watch 3 which is still under warranty (see photo attached), when I contacted the apple support, they confirmed that it does not fit in the warranty, is this normal? I can not understand how apple can sell us poor quality products at exorbitant prices and not assume behind? Can you give me a way to succeed?

We are Users like you. We attempt to answer technical questions regarding the Watch. If Apple says it's not covered under their warranty, who are we to say anything different. It's possible you exposed the watch to an abrasive chemical.
