Over the past couple of days my IMAC has started to freeze after a few minutes - mouse and keyboard unresponsive. Have to switch off and re-boot constantly. Have tried re-installing Mojave to no effect. (Version 10.14.6. ) Have a new Mouse - no change. Any other suggestions? Have never had a problem before.

Try to boot in Safe mode to isolate issues with your iMac.
