My iphone suddenly stopped receiving texts from a specific iphone. We both can send/receive texts from others. I've tried everything that I've found on net to solve the problem but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Check to see if you have each other saved in your contacts under "iPhone". Also make sure you both Toggle iMessage on and off. Then try to send an iMessage via Wi-Fi (maybe try taking your sim-card out so you can only send iMessage).
Check to make sure you have not accidentally blocked that person. Go to Settings>Phone>Call Blocking & Identification.
I found 2 different contact entries for the same person. One was blocked, the other not. Unblocked the entry and imessage started working. Thanks.
