Read receipts

Hi, so I just updated my phone IOS 12.4 and I can’t see read receipts, i tried to turn it on and off, logged out of my messages, restarted mu phone and it still doesn’t work. The read receipts don’t work with nobody

Whether or not you get read receipts is up to the recipient, not you.

The vast majority of people I know keep that option turned off.
