What will you use in your iPhone if you use it in your iPad? You should have a Sim card for the iPad and you need to set up a data plan with your carrier (if they support iPad) to pay for cellular data.
i have an IPHONE that was destroyed a couple days ago. I only have a Apple IPAD, and I have some very important work related things to do before morning. Is it possible for me to put my SIM card from my 8Plus into the IPad and it be fully functional? Thanks a bunch

No. iPad uses data only SIM.
No. Just use Wifi on your iPad. You don't have to use cellular data for the iPad to work.
