MacBook Air Mid-2013. ? Battery Issues

My macBook Air (Mid-2013, 11 inch) is swollen. It doesn't rest properly on flat surface and doesn't close completely. What could be the reason for this?

I think my battery might be swelling. How can I be sure? My 2018 MacBook pro doesn't seem to sit flat on a level surface and it doesn't seem to close completely. Are those indications my battery is swelling? I performed a diagnostic on the laptop and it found no issues as far as function goes.

MacBook Pro Battery Swollen? It appears my MacBook Pro bottom has swollen. It no longer sits flat on level surfaces. It rocks like a phone without a case. I assume this is a battery issue, but obviously, I'm not certain. Software states it's "Normal". Has anyone else experienced this?

Macbook Pro 2018 Battery Swelling I bought my new MacbookPro 2018 in 2019, after 2.5 years of using, the battery has swollen and the base is not flat anymore, which caused the Macbook to wobble on the table when Im using it. I check the battery condition and it is fine and normal. What should I do? Does it caused any risk and safety issue? Does Apple covers this hardware issue? Thank you all.

You have a defective battery which is expanding. You will need to get the laptop serviced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Center. If the swollen battery has damaged other parts such as the case, trackpad, etc., then those parts may need to be replaced as well.
