Apple watch- watch face

I cannot add a watch face to my apple watch and even after pressing firmly and swiping all the way to the left or to the right i cant see the add option

Try swiping in the other direction. Maybe your watch orientation is different from what other people are assuming.

Or see the iPhone "Watch" app -> Face Gallery tab along the bottom edge of the screen.
