help

iphone is stuck on home screen, can’t click on any apps or turn phone off using lock button and volume button, only thing i can do it answer texts and that’s when i slide down on it when i get it

No, from the frozen screen section of this support document, If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

I thought I was pretty clear: Press the volume up button and let it go, then immediately press the volume down button and let it go then hold down the side (lock) button by itself until you see the Apple logo, then let that button go. Clear?

Try this: press the volume up button and let it go, immediately press the volume down button and let it go then hold just the side button until you see the Apple logo then let go of the side button.
