I just upgraded my iPhone from the 6s to the XR and I want to transfer my music from my old phone to the new one. I tried it through my Mac, but it doesn't add all the songs (as some are CD's that I copied onto my music).
How can I get all my music from one phone to the next?

A backup doesn't contain the contents of the Music app, it contains documents, photos, settings etc. If the music was purchased from iTunes you should be able to copy it over to the Mac's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and you can then sync it to the XR

How did you try to do it, and is all the music in the Mac's iTunes library ?
I backed up my old phone’s music on my Mac but not all the songs showed up in the iTunes Library. Maybe I did it wrong? Is there a way to just share between phones?
