Irritating noise randomly goes off

I have 2017 MacBook Pro and there is a dull but loud sound randomly happens. Sort of like a notification but not connecting to anything I'm doing at the time. Any ideas?

  • Force Quit Anything that is Hung: Go to: Apple Menu > Force Quit... > Force Quit any item that ends with “(Not Responding)“, Including All Media players, whether hung or not.

  • If that does not work, plug in an external speaker, and see if you sill hear it. If not, it’s either the builtin speakers or, maybe there is just something else that is making the noise! 💀You never know.
