No sound through earpiece and wired headphones but speakers are fine?

After resetting my iphone 7 and restoring from icloud there is no longer sound through the earpiece or when using wired headphones. I have completed all checks and have been quoted £359 to repair but as this issue occured immediatley after a software restore I thought there may be an alternative fix?

Hello,

See this:

Check the charging port for lint or other debris.

Also see: If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If no help, try this:

1) Open the Control Center

2) 3D press (or long press) on the music controls

3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)

4) Select headphones

Good luck.
