Dear ohmyhelpme,

Thanks for posting your situation here at the Apple Communities. You've came to the right place for help!

Based on the information that you've provided, you'll need to follow the steps in this Apple Article - HT204306 to place your iPad in Recovery Mode and connect it to a computer with iTunes. It is important to note that if you do not have a backup of your device - there isn't a way to save the data on the device before it is Restored to Factory Settings.

If you need any help performing the steps, you may contact AppleCare Support at 1-800-275-2273 (800-APL-CARE).
