Since the installation of the latest security Update 2019-003 (May 20, 2019) i face heavy problems with Audio output on my MacMini (Mid 2010, High Sierra 10.13.6). Audio files from any source sound terrible (squealing sound, instable volume, sometimes no sound at all). I use a Logitech Headpone (USB) over a USB 4 port hub. Before the update everthing worked fine. Any suggestions?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
