Apple cinema display stopped working on upgrade to Mojave (iMac Pro)

My recently purchased iMac Pro died (running High Sierra) Apple replaced with new iMac Pro, now running Mojave.

Now my Apple cinema display has completely stopped working. I'm using a mini display port to USB-C adapter to get it into iMac Pro. Exactly as I did flawlessly with my previous iMac Pro.

Any ideas would be much appriciated!

Remote display is not working. It appears that the USB-c ports on my iMac running Ventura stopped working, the display works as well as the cabling, those were verified with another computer. I have tried a different peripheral and it is not working. My mac works just fine but I cannot get the displays to run. Running Ventura 13.1

Apple Cinema LED 27" display (A1316) won't display from 16" MBP using TB3-TB2 adapter - but shows up in system information ?? So I have an older 2010 Apple Cinema LED display with mini display port plug and connected it to a 16" MBP (2019) using the Apple TB3/TB2 adapter + Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter. The display won't show from either the M1 Mini or 16" MBP. However it shows up in system info as a valid display: If the Mac sees the display, why won't it show ? As a sidenote, I have a 2015 MBP using TB2 port connected to the 27" Cinema display (mini display port) and works perfectly...

Wanted to let everyone know i updated the iMac Pro OS to Mojave 10.14.5 and it has completely resolved the issue.

Must have been a bug in how Mojave and the new USB3-C port hardware were handling a conversion of mini display ports.
