can´t insert a cd in my superdrive mbp 2011

It could be dead but there might be a CD already in it. With the drive connected to the computer, restart your computer and hold the mouse/trackpad while it boots. This is the emergency eject disc keypress and if there’s a CD already in it, this will eject it.
