Format date and time in Mail summary list

The Mail summary list shows the time for emails that arrive today, "yesterday" for those that arrived on the previous day, and the date for those that arrived prior to that. I would like the date to always shows the date and time for all emails. How do I format the date?

The reason I would like to see the date and time is that I receive many, many automated emails each day where the time matters. When I'm reviewing them on the day they're sent, I can see the time, but for prior dates I can't. The only way to see the time is to scroll through them one at a time, which is very slow.
